A little wren perched in I think blackthorn branches with a larger tree behind just beginning to sprout its fresh green Spring leaves. I’ve been really enjoying seeing the Spring blossoms this year and on closer inspection of some low branches I noticed a wren perched in amongst the blossoms.

I decided to try and capture this scene with soft pastels, charcoal and digital.
