I originally did this drawing in 2012 and I've had a bit of a love hate relationship with it ever since.. On a recent whim I started playing around with it, adding colour digitally and seeing If I could give it more impact. This became rather an obsession I've probably spent far more time colouring it than I did with the original drawing itself. Though I freely admit I'm no expert with art programs but I found it quite relaxing tinkering with colours and tints without the pressure of making a mistake say if I used watercolour paints.

She looks a little sad and forlorn I feel, but then it has just started snowing and as we all know its grim up north! I'm not sure who her enemy is, it could be orcs, it could be wild and dangerous northmen!
