Description
I went to Alentejo - Portugal last weekend.I made that trip in order to find some peace and relaxation and walk away from the city and all the stress.
I thought I would find green fields all over the place but I got there too late, the fields were already yellow and at the sunset hour they turn gold. It was one of the most peaceful landscapes I´ve seen yet in my life.
Photo taken by my girlfriend here: [link]
I already have some shots similar to this one in my main gallery, but the contrast between the yellow and the bue and the heavenly look of this photo made me upload it.
I´m so so sorry for my absence here on DA,but my passion for photography remains, so I will show I´m alive every now and then.
Thanks for all your support.
P.S.: Doen´t this photo reminds you of the movie "what dreams may come"? [link]

PhilipMatthews In reply to Inebriantia [2009-05-21 13:49:41 +0000 UTC]
Radius a 1,0.

Lovely shot Filipe
What part of Alentejo is this, it looks like the south, between Grandola and Almodovar, which is really beautiful.
I was travelling through there this weekend on the train, and saw some wonderful locations...but sadly photography is simply something I don't seem to have time for at the moment

We're talking to builders right now, and we're hoping to open in 2 years from now.
It's not Alentejo though, it's in Algarve, on the Serra do Monchique [link]
