Final fantasy X and X-2 is being released next year on ps3 international versions with previously unreleased in the US, this is going be a good HD remake

Yeah unlike the crappy Final fantasy 13 +Β The better ones were X, X-2 and all the previous ones I think its got something to do with the battle mechanics, that FF13 pendagrim however you spell it is a flawed and fail system, the story is lacking also, I'm shocked they did it twice FF13 and FF13-2 and I hear Lightning returns is another pentigram real time style but I'm not going to keep my hopes up as the designers of FFX are no longer working on the FF genre. I'm setting myself up for disappointments for any future final fantasy's, and seriously no summoning anymore?

When FFX and FFX-2 first came out people said they were rubbish and FF died with IX.
People who don't like the paradigm system claiming the games play themselves probably gave up before reaching the difficult bosses. It's a different kind of strategy and change is the constant as Cauis would say.
Personally I take them as they are, they're all good games.

Imo I played through FF13 and 13-2 they didn't come as close to being as good as FFX even FFX-2 I believe ff is dying they have just been getting worst after XΒ 6 and 7 was my fav but I enjoyed X and its ability to summon and control during battles. I think your just not obsessed with final fantasy games unlike me lol

FF12 & FF14:ARR are good too. So was the 7th Umbral Era story arc of Legacy FF14.
The problem with FF13 is that it's more Final Sc-Fi than Final Fantasy...

I personally never liked FF12 or FF14 FF13-2 is only tolerable because Tri Ace had a hand in the making, FF13 was a joke. Lightning returns looks probably just better than FF13-2 but we see what its like.
I don't like how they making final fantasy action based its whole genre is supposed to be strategy turn based rpg FFX was the last best FF ever made. I'd even go as far as saying FFX-2 is better than any other final fantasy that came after that.
FF6,7,8 and X were the top guns out of all the final fantasy ever made.

6 isn't really that good, 7 is kinda meh - both it's prequel and sequel were better than it imo, 8 was ruined by it's gods' awful gameplay, and 10 is just far too depressing.
The best non prequel or sequel FF is 9. 12 is 2nd and 14 (7th Umbral Era & A Realm Reborn) Β is 3rd. 8 & 13 are by far the worst.

Sorry dude I can't agree there, each FF is a bit different in its respective form and thus there will always be some people that like it and some people that prefer others. FF6 is with Tera, back in the old school SNES it was the best rpg next to secret of mana and chrono trigger.
FF7 introduced the coolest bad guy Sephiroth, with a nice cast of characters with FF6 feel to it mix with scifi FF8 was similar to 7 but it was more medieval than sci fi which I welcomed as I like scifi but not too much. FF8 got a bit boring towards the end but the beginning to half way through was a delight to play, it also housed a great cast of character you will never forget.
FF9 started to get bad, the start it was cool it was almost pure medieval, then it started half way through the game to get tedious and crap find these things on the map and it just divided the excitement it had at the beginning saving the princess, just to note most ff these days are all copies Beatrix is supposed to be almost the female version of Sephiroth bad ass strong powerful. On a note I really hated the male hero in FF9 with the monkey tail he was so annoying.
Not just talking about storyline, FFX had great game mechanics, and cool characters, aside from Tidus that is lol Yuna Rikku and Auron ftw anyways being able to summon Shiva or Ifrit etc.. and control them in battle that was pure amazing when we first did it. switching in battle your characters was also cool so you wouldn't need toΒ go in your game menu all the time just to switch characters for a battle.
IT added a lot of strategy mix with a nice cast of battle music.
I am 34 years old I was 15 When I played FF7 think I was like 12 or 13 when I played Final fantasy 3 aka 6. Those were some of my fav rpg's growing up. So that's why I have to disagree with you there, and acording to the vote scale seems like most people want sequels to FF6, 7 ,and X as they are the ones that had the most memorable characters and storylines.Β FF13 got sequel also because it was memorable in storyline and characters but shame the gameplay sucks, really FF13Β and FF13-2 was built for sorry guys noobs giving you auto fast control in battles leaving the gamer empty inside like you haven't achieved or have that feeling of I won on my own and it was awesome.
I think the pandigm system is a fail and so are the auto attacks, I would like it like FFX-2 its realtime action with turn based choices, and you make all the choices with ability to re-do your last choices in one click, but never to automatically decide what moves to do to based on weaknesses of monsters, and that battle music FF13- 13-2 had is horrible I want nobuo uemetsu backΒ though saying that I did enjoy the town dungeon and map music FF13 and 13-2 had. Get rid of staggering as well, get rid of the crappy pandigm system lol I want old FF turn based back with fluent action like FFx-2 had. and those summons and ability to control the summons.

me of each other, probably the personality more than the looks, i never managed
to get any of the FFX or X-2 chars except Yuna & Tidus. Love what you have done with
her here as well
