Description
This was taken at a coastal hotel in Manila, Philippines. I was tasked at work to attend this event where government doctors and nurses from other cities would undergo training on detecting Tuberculosis from patients. Alas, due to circumstance, I was the only attendee in the seminar that doesn't have any medical background. For the whole day I felt like I'm the only person that doesn't understand the discussions on the same level as the rest of the attendees, with all their medical terminologies and weird jargon; they really seem to be an odd bunch. Personally, it's quite a great social anxiety to overcome, especially when we were divided into groups to evaluate whether x-ray plates have an active case of Tuberculosis or not, and you have to mingle them. This shot of mine could represent the anxiety I felt during that day.
