Description
For the "coup de grace", you can finalize details with a mechanical pencil for rendering the more prominent pores and fix the nails and the knuckles. I have used pastel paper for the exercise, which, interestingly, has a large grain. On the final result, it creates a texture of realistic poresTutorial starts here ->

Thanks, dear! I loved doing this tutorial. I'd like to do more, but drawing hands is the only "specialty" where I can afford to do it, though, for now.

Very good tutorial Philippe!!! I used to try to avoid hands altogether and in fact did an oil painting cutting off the hands and feet of my subject lol! Im trying to get better now though!!!

Yeah, I remember when you said that! It proves that this is feasible, it is simply matter to avoid traps when drawing hands and feet. One might think that this is simple, until it looks odd after the whole figure is drawn.
