so, my question to you is do white chalk and charcoal have some thing in common beside giving the white shading and highlight?

In fact, I think that the white stick I used is from Canson, I am not sure. This is maybe not "chalk" as is, so I don`t know if this is made of carbon like charcoal.

Thanks a lot! I love working with black paper, so you don't have to tire yourself darkening a big deal of parts - you concentrate on the highlights, which is the FUN part
