I miss that lumbering Reaver from SC1. I liked it's design of a robotic caterpillar, so I took that idea and changed it up a bit. Keep in mind these unit concepts are more for my portfolio, so don't take them too seriously. As far as its ability, a Robotics Facility and Stargate can be rallied to this unit, this will cause units from those buildings to appear on the field at the Warp Reavers location if it's warp gate is activated (while activated it can not move). The biggest problem I thought of with this unit idea was trying to justify why a player should be making more than just a couple per game. I thought of the idea of limiting one building being rallied to a Warp Reaver at a time, but that's a poor excuse to give players motive to build them. So I thought of a second ability that it could do. Perhaps it could use an energy based ability that sucked in missile attacks, similar to an ability the Mothership had pre WoL beta. It would suck in missile fire in a short cone radius, but this would have to be used wisely, since the Warp Reaver is very slow at pivoting.Related content

yeah okey, that is really bothersome :/ When I was working on my old computer flipping an image took 5-10 seconds sometimes xD Could be pretty dreadful. Sounds like you have everything under control though

Ah good the next installment of STARCRAFT creativity...
I like the concept behind this unit, and the lore does appear to support the protoss being able to create something like this. Due to the reaver being a massive mobile manufactory, it isn't too hard to imagine some of them being converted into mobile warp gates.
My imagined stats for it would be:
Mechanical, Massive, Armored
HP:200, Shields 200, starting armor 2
Movement speed: 1.7 mobile, 0 stationary
Attack: none
Energy 50 starting, 150 max
Abilities: (the missile one you suggested) 75 energy, lasts 3 seconds
Overload reactors: While in it's deployed state, the warp reaver can inactivate a target structure within range 10, preventing it from building new units or from attacking (bunkers close up, infantry can't attack) costs 50 energy, lasts 15 seconds.
all in all a good idea

You are very welcome.
Since one of the Reaver's (one of my favorite original toss units BTW) original functions was to be a drop harass with Protoss shuttles, I thought why not use that by harassing another player when they are producing units?
As to the other ability, why not give toss a way to bypass someone who has turtled up or tries to cheez with a bunker rush/photon cannon rush/other.
Oh and I forgot to mention how much resources it should cost: 4 supply, 100 gas, 275 minerals,35 seconds, out of robotics facility, requires robotics bay (the building that allows collosi).
This makes it a fairly expensive unit mineral-wise, but cheap gas wise and hopefully make it fair to the other races.
