Starcraft 2: Protoss Phase Prism ver. 1

This is a very early version of the Protoss Phase Prism which was originally a Dark Templar manufactured ship. The original intention in SC2 was to mix a significant amount of Dark Templar units and buildings into the Protoss army to make it more visually unique. The early Dark Templar art was purple metal, green crystals, leaner shapes and more relics like Samwise's concepts. The consensus was the visual style was too contrasting to the gold Protoss art, and even mistakenly Zerg-like at times. The Phase Prism was rebuilt as a High Templar ship, and eventually the Dark Templar stylings were made more platinum as they appear in the final game today.
