I was playing around with a Power Ranger re-imagining. This is a bit old, but it seems appropriate to share now that there actually is a new Power Ranger movie being made.The idea for this was the suits were a mixture of traditional tech and a somewhat organic technology. So when they "Morph" their bodies become the suit.

I thought it would be cool if, like Ben Ten, their Morphing actually changed them physically all the way down to their DNA. Sort of like making them alien.

Yeah, for sure. Your idea is really similar. I agree, I really like the idea of the silver part being organic and moving as they talk. I even imagined the brow having some movement depending on the emotion. When I played around with the Black Ranger design, I even added eyelids to the visor, which could be used to further push expression.

Yes, I saw that. Like that very much. I agree. I remember thinking as a kid that their intention was to have them actually change and the mouths not moving or them hot showing eyes was low budget stuff. If they do a bigger movie I would go with an avengers tone, Bulk and Skull like you said, and have their bodies actually morph. Might even be cool to have them piloting the giant robots like in Attack on Titan. jh100.deviantart.com/art/Eren-… Only more mechanical and not so organic.
