As you said, Luke Ross's stuff are in my words un-comparable. His stuff puts me in utter awe. I do also have the actual copy of the cover and I would have to agree with you that A LOT of detail were left out due to my schedule at work :/ But please do make sure to ask for steps before one assume it's just manipulated -_-"

It sounds I poke a nerve there. You mad brah? lol All jokes aside, well for the steps, I first then made a new layer (for nubs, a new blank sheet where one can draw from without having to edit the original) and rough over the original with 3px brush w/out dynamic setting on <--very important step. Next, I then turn the hue and saturation to colorized mode and make it a like cyan color. After that, I hide the original layer and re-rough over my rough that I made earlier. After I re-roughed on a new layer, I then make a new one and draw in the contour lines (which means the thicker outline of the entire drawing) in 9px in dynamic mode. Next with a new layer, I then lessen the px to around 6px and draw in the actual fine lines in the actual drawing. And finally, I then ink the entire drawing with the lasso tool. If there are minor gaps or spaces that needed to be ink, I then use the brush to manually ink it.
Each and every step was referenced to the original.

Look, I ain't trying to bicker or argue with you about how you or I draw or ink. I know i have flaws in ALL of my pictures because inking is still new to me. I have never insulted you in any way say how you are "unfit to ink" and leave it to the pros.
