This happens to me alot on alot of sites. On forums, usually when I post a comment on a topic, nobody else posts on that topic afterwards, as if I had killed the topic somehow. I've posted on Experience Project about some of my problems, and ironically when I posted my story on the "I Feel Ignored" thread, nobody commented.
On Facebook, I only friend family and friends. But whenever I post something, such as photos or drawings, usually nobody comments. It's worse there than it is on DA.
And when I'm with family in person, and conversations go on, it's hard to get a word in edge-wise. I wait for a opening for me to speak, and once I start, someone talks over me.
Point is, I want to be acknowledged, as well as get more praise for my work, especially the ones I worked hard on.

Mostly at school....no body there even remembers my name and I get asked if i'm a new student everyday....
I really don't mind. I'm antisocial anyway...and I have friends!...Who are also antisocial

i get ignored alot as well, and do you know what i hate even more? my older pics that looked like work of a 5 year old got better attention than my new cool ones, it pisses me off >_< err.. wait... is this stamp even deviantart related... sorry, guess i didnt pay attention, i'm SO SORRY, the stamp is cool by the way, i'll definitely use this if i ever got a subscription

It is deviantart related because people can only use the stamp here but hardly in real life.
Anyway, it's pretty strange that you get comment on older arts but not the present one, which is pretty strange, and unfair as well; I always get such a 'treatment' often too.
