Description
There are people's journal that don't deserve attention, as in readers being picky on the content, person and even length. Some aren't being read carefully or being ignored totally...SO, do you even READ my journal?

I tend to ask the same thing, if it's due to my sometimes long content. I understand if watchers (I'm referring more to my friends) click down things like quizzes I'm tagged with in my journals, but when I've got a lengthy thing saying how I'm going, or what I've been pondering over doing, I can't help but feel dissapointed when I feel like no one bothers reading it < xP
Thus, I really like this stamp :3

I have the same feeling as you are. And what more, it discourage me to write journal, as if I don't even care if there's no such thing as a 'journal' in dA since I treat it more like a mini blog than a journal in dA...
Somehow I think this is bad, because we write things and submit arts here to get certain deserved recognition. But what turns out was something that people don't deserve to read unless you are so famous, good with arts and have really huge number of fans who would even 'care' to lift you wherever you go.
At first I thought I might be whining too much for making such a thing, but...what has been made has been done, thus, a simple stamp is here.

I'd normally like to think of the journal as something to express how you're feeling, or what you're up to, or even talk about yourself to get to have your viewers or your DA art buddies to know you more. I mean, why not have a deeper understanding about the person behind the art you like alot?
So if I ever type down something that expresses my annoyance over something, or my feelings that are pretty downing, I'm afraid people would scoff and click it off, as if the last thing they'd feel like looking at was the depression of others.

Correct; it's more like the way of making friends and understand others more, yet, people sometime says "dA is not for making friend"...if it's ONLY for making friend, I agree with that, but why not arts and making friends together? Isn't it better as long as people don't abuse it? This is really disappointed...plus, I sometime hope people would say something which doesn't resembles a typical respond.
For this, I prefer to tell my contact on MSN, since I know there won't be any solace for me to seek here, but in fact, you would be considered as a joker instead...

Reason why I'd prefer DA over some place like Myspace any day 83 it's the one cool thing you know you have in common with almost everyone here: you like to do art ^ ^ But it's just your interests/what you have in common on what you enjoy drawing that can bring fellow artists closer.
Tell what? o 3o
consider me as a joker instead?
^ This is what gave me the need to fave your ask too much stamp XD I ask alot of questions, sometimes more than I feel I need to, but just so I can be 100% clear with the person I'm conversing with :3

Yeah, that's true; but sadly some people just put up really good art which we can't even understand, but that's aside of the question.
Tell my own problem and such to friends in MSN, that's what I mean. But seriously, I sometime ask a lot of questions too.

Yeah, probably based on how heavily intellect they are on their symbolism, perhaps.
Oh 8o you'd discuss the purposes about journals in this case, you mean? :3
xD Lol, sometimes it's too hard to not ask questions

Phillus In reply to FoxinRamen [2009-01-18 06:09:56 +0000 UTC]
Nah...there's nothing much to discuss about the purpose of journal anyway. The word itself already has a meaning...and questions are hard to ask sometimes.

Ahh 8o
Heh, True true. For me, I guess they're easy depending what it is. If someone says something I don't entirely get by meaning, I end up asking a question or two our of it xP
Although when the questions are dire and have more importance for me to know, I have a difficult time trying to say it.

Yes, but sadly I don't usually keep it long since sometimes I don't feel like doing anything and it's my fault to kill everything instead.

Sometimes I might be like that, or when I sometimes randomly decide on moving to another topic, I stop short.
I think that sometimes the mood to ask or answer can just be short lived, probably.

Phillus In reply to FoxinRamen [2009-01-19 06:29:28 +0000 UTC]
Asking too much question somehow make you feel guilty for 'bothering' others, while changing topic is really hard since you don't really know whether the person is interested or not. Regarding the mood, I think it has to do with how satisfied you are the the person and answer. If nothing sprout out, then goodbye...which sucks somehow.

I get that "I feel bad, What if I'm bothering them" feeling when I ask specific questions within questions >8 Since I just want to be more understanding about the situation.
Heh, sometimes I'll ask a question, and if they come up with some one word answer, it's normally a turnoff that doesn't get me much in the mood to ask anything else, since they wouldn't relatively turn out interesting.

Aww...sometimes people can consider caring as minding other's business, which is hard to avoid...
I really dislike one word reply and nothing else...come on, there got to be something to say than "oh, I see, yeah"...but sadly, no...they really have nothing to say, which makes me silent with slight disappointment as well.

FoxinRamen In reply to Phillus [2009-01-19 21:13:18 +0000 UTC]
Pretty true >8 Especially if said person doesn't want anyone in their business.
Same, although depending on the questions, I'll sometimes give a one word response, but only when the subject is something I never really thought about, or don't care much about.
But yeah, I have one friend of mine who moved into Cali, and the only way I talk to him is through E-mail, and I ask questions like how he's doing and stuff like that, but he'll always just answer with one word like yes, no, etc, and it sometimes irritates me. He's starting a new chapter in life for the moment in Cali, and he doesn't have anything important to say about it?

Phillus In reply to FoxinRamen [2009-01-19 23:59:04 +0000 UTC]
Either that or they are lazy.
I sometimes give one word response but blame myself for saying nothing more, since I know, if I want to continue, I must say something pretty redundant or obvious to make sure it goes further but meh; sometimes you really have to use one word answer since those questions are either too common or nonconstructive.
Maybe he's 'busying' with others and didn't really care about the mail; I don't know, but somehow this is pretty frustrating unless he really has a worse life in Cali.

When it comes to questions about them being common, I'd understand there being one word answers.
when I ask how his time is doing in Cali, I would have expected him to maybe say more, since it's big to move elsewhere.

Probably he wouldn't be as 'enjoyable' or 'new' as you thought he'd be. But then again, it's pretty common as well.

Black and white stamps like this requires a straight message, which makes it special despite the lack of colours and such. Thanks for the comment!
