a very slow WIP picture x.x I just can't seem to get motivated past what I've already completed x.x;;;

x'D it's quite simple
lay down your base colour + draw in where there'd be shadows with darker colors, highlights with lighter colors + use the smush brush appropriately + burn to intensify/dodge to add highlights

This is pretty good so far for a wip 
You might also want to add greater contrast to show the shadows cast by the hair/collar on her skin. If you study shadows in real life, not all have gradation or soft edges. Don't be afraid to use a harder brush!

I'd been meaning to fix the hat's angle quite a bit when I actually colored it , I can see how it'd look really off at the current state of the picture XD; >.<
hm- perhaps the shadows do need an extra oomph- I'd already dodged ontop of the skin a bit more to empathize the presence of a light source, but I knew something was still missing,- so thanks!
