this is for an art project. the whole series deals with a man whose family member passes away from old age, and how he copes with it by leaning on his faith, until it overwhelms him and he becomes nearly obsessed with religionthis is the cross and card from my grandmother's funeral. she passes away this spring, a few days after my birthday.
but anyway, i used these to set the scene for the rest of the series

Good crop (especially with the words that are left uncovered - sorrow, suffering, everlasting). Kinda sums up the whole series. Aesthetically, I like the combination of the ornate cross and the graphic black and white of the funeral program.
