you are just amazing with your use of lighting. it just sets this overwhelming atmosphere and makes me gasp for air!!! This one makes me want to know what is making you close your eyes like this...is it pain, hurt, an untouchable love...a desire that's unfulfilled? Makes me think and wonder a lot!

haha. there is alot going on in this simple photograph for me. it makes me think of those times in my life where i was pain, and yet was unable to shot it

this is a great photo. Lines, as always, work out beautifully for you and compositionally it rocks. Lighting is beautiful, and helps augment the emotionality of the piece, though honestly that doesn't really need help. Very emotional photo, you do seem torn or pained and the lighting makes that even more realistic.

it looks like a stretch that is pained, reaching out, but with your eyes closed and how you kept your expression soft, it's a pain that you are keeping to yourself
i am familiar with that kind of pain
but it also shows your muscles a little, which almost says that you have the strength to get through it

the restraints at the top are wonderful, and in my opinion, feeling pain is better then not being able to feel anything at all..(there is a song out there that explains that fully) and the black and white of this photo was perfect choice...also the length of your torso in the shot is amazing....I will be watching you with my eyes wide open
