this took forever i like how it turned outthat crab in the background is me

but i also wish i knew more so i can do better (backgrounds for example eesh look at the seaa)
these two characters have a really cool design and i was like so inspired
the first outfits are designed by me hope it fits their personality okay
still finishing commissions and payments

I really like the contrast between the images – another on is very bright and the other dark, one can easily tell them apart and also see the difference which creates an interesting story too. The characters themselves look very cute and you have a nice style with them – yet I might have welcomed even more changes on them on the darker image (e.g the boy’s hair kinda blends in with the red background, perhaps it would pop up more in different brighter color?). The sunny beach background might need a little refinement as now the details look a little blurred, yet I do enjoy the cartoony style.
I’d say my critique for this piece is that there’s almost too much movement in it. It takes the viewer few time to stare at it to be able to take it all in. This causes the image as whole appear a tad cluttered. All the details are pretty interesting, so instead of removing any, I’d suggest you give each frame (or at least the bright one) more time to be seen. I mean you could double the length of the sea picture and then have the dark red one pop up for a shorter moment. This would give the animation better focus and also let the viewer better take in all the fun details you have on the background. The glitch effect looks lovely as well.

It's already very good :3 The effects look great and the glitching feels realistic.
You mean on the darker pic? I would add some higlights on the characters or perhaps an outline or outer glow on them to better separate them form the background,
the image is also is very red, some blue or purple on the shadows would deepen the shading more and give the image more hues. Generally it's just that the background and the characters are very similarly colored hence in parts they blend in together. The previous were just suggestions on how to improve on this.
