This is my official clichΓ© trendwhore eye macro. I realize it is not even close to original, but I wanted to try it. Please, if you dislike eye shots and think there are too many [which there are], just don't bother commenting.

anyways, didja do a colour photograph and then use the grey brush and grey everything except the eye itself? sorry i just wanna figure out how you did all these cool photo tricks. although im sure you wouldnt wanna give away ALL your secrets....

Cliche or not, the colours and details in that iris are incredible. How did you get such LIGHT into it?

first of all I'm honored by your comment, I think I've had only one previous one from you 
Second of all we were outside and I had it on a very low shutter speed, so it came out bright. I then only desaturated the skin and slightly saturated the eye.

Girls always tell me my eyes look nice. I tried taking a macro of my eye but it didn't turn out that well. They're always changing colors (in blue hues).

So that's all you did is make it black and white and play with the levels? This is my favorite eye piece (out of all them). I absoultely love the blue. Great work dude!

Amazing shot there, about my only complaint is the fact that you can see the camera, but that's cool. I'd love to take this and manip some lightning into the middle of the eye or something, that would look *really* cool.

The structure of the average eye is 100% unique, better than a fingerprint. Great representation. This would have looked almost as good without color, but the 'trendwhore' blue does add some emphasis.

I don't care how cliche it is, every eye is different and it's always interesting to see. Beautiful shot, the editing enhances it so well and the reflection is just perfect, this is much better than alot I've seen. Well done.

Are you sure you haven't done any manipulation of the depth of the blueness? Your eyes are, for lack of a better word, absolutely gorgeous. It really helps that you chose to desaturate everything but the iris (?); it brings out the color so much more. It really helps that you took the picture outside because natural lighting (personally, I like looking almost directly at the sun) brings so much more into a photograph than artificial lighting would. I'd also like to say that the blood vessels to the right side of your eye give the piece a sort of contrasting mood: the almost-perfect blue iris versus the almost-evil looking blood vessels. Good contrast. I'm trying to find anything I can criticize about this photo, but it's just not happening. Definitely a +fav!
