I've been thinking to myself: "What if SEGA re-released Phantasy Star 4? What would it look like if the character artist back then used this same style now?"
So I compiled the game's images into one picture, and started working on each face one-by-one, smoothing out all the pixellated mess.
This is how I saw each face, so some parts may not look right. I also used the same colours that PS4 used. It took me 12 hours, but here they are.

Now, there's one missing if I recall, but I can't play through the game again just to find it.
