Description
A spring portrait to counteract the snow falling in London by the bucket-load as I type. It started off rather pretty; but the roads are looking a tad sludgey now.Spring'll be here soon... right? *brrrr*

I love how we always make our art for ourselves, and then realize other people like it too. ^^

This world has nowhere near enough orange lipstick and light green eyeshadow. And I mean that in all seriousness. You have no idea how deeply I wish this world had more orange lipstick and light green eyeshadow.

Lol, you think so? I think most of us mere mortals would look awful in it. But I do wish people did generally wear more colour; the average Londoner looks like they're heading to a funeral.

I think you'd be surprised how many people could pull it off if they'd just take a chance and try. It's like bright yellow polo shirts with white stripes and plaid scarfs; terrible in theory, but one out of every ten people can actually manage it without looking like a clown. Me and a friend of mine both dress that way sometimes. Bright colors wake people up and cause them to be just a bit more optimistic. Days are always better when I dress adventurously.
In any case, I had heard that about Londoners. Kinda make you wanna run around a splash colored paint on people? *splish* And you have a lovely day! *fleeing angry Londoners*

he he - true true - Londoners are very bad for not wearing much colour. We can always spot tourists by the fact that they aren't in the black uniform.

Thank you - it did turn out quite well in the end, the skin shaders were not the easiest to light though ><

Did it settle long? When I lived in Cornwall it never settled.
And thanks

No! It was gone in 24 hours Torbay never gets much snow, it's way too sheltered.

Your characters have beautiful rendered skins and the eyes are so alive. I rarely see this in 3D rendered humans.

Awww that's very nice of you to say ; I do always try for that; eyes being the window of the soul and all that jazz - it's hard to put life in to 3D faces.

I mean it! As you said, it's hard to put life into 3D faces yet you do it very well. Keep it up!
