Description
Still have yet to come up with a name for my proposed pirate comic, but I've figured out the principal cast.

Note- these characters aren't in correct scale with one another.

Basic plot synopsis-

Aubrey is an unambitious college student with a part time job as a lifeguard, a position she took mostly for the attention she'd be getting. Unsurprisingly, she's not very good at her job, and while sleeping and tanning on the job, a group of pirates invade the beach. The bumbling pirates then kidnap Aubrey and bring her aboard their ship, led by a greasy captain(who has yet to be named or designed). This greasy captain makes rude passes at Aubrey only to get punched off the ship and devoured by...something. According to some BS pirate laws that I just made up, Aubrey is then named Captain of the ship.

Meanwhile, another pirate crew is led by the feared Cornelius Delacroix and his legless veteran first mate, Ringo. One of Cornelius' best crew members is his very efficient and intelligent and obviously fraternal twin sister, Jolie. Jolie's importance is severely underestimated and under appreciated by her twin brother, and when their crew has a run-in with Aubrey's ship, Jolie defiantly opts to ditch her brother's crew and become Aubrey's first mate, instantly causing Aubrey's incompetent pirate crew to become a force to be reckoned with.

The comic follows these two rival crews, as they race around the world to find buried treasure, both crews being hindered and toyed with by the mischievous mermaid Circe and her mystical talking seagull friend, Froley. In their adventures, they run across a variety of strange creatures and odd beings, whether it be giant crabs, Lovecraftian monsters or undead seafarers like Daffy Jones.
