Had a chance to go see Akira in the theater the other day, and it was totally mind-blowing. I thought I was able to appreciate it from the 9-10 other times I've seen it, but seeing it blown up like that...no words.Inspired me to do a quick portrait of Tetsuo.

Yeah, there's an art theater near me that shows older films. Needless to say, it was pretty awesome.
