Never seen the Little Tramp looking so sad... I like the split between graytone and color in this image, makes me a bit sad to think of the passing of silent films.

Charlie Chaplin is English actually, though he went to Ireland often.

XD Actually acording to my sources ((School and museums XD )) He was born in Co. Kerry Ireland >..> Im not sure thats what ive read and heard

If you go to the official Charlie Chaplin website, you can see his biography. Also, the Edna Purviance site mentions his biography as well. The book Tramp: The Life of Charlie Chaplin by Joyce Milton covers a lot of his heritage though it's not complete. He was born in Walworth, London, England. He did have an Irish grandfather from County Cork so he does have some Irish in him.
