You probably won't even get to this comment, but can I ask why you changed the race of the other children? I like that it shows a difference, but I feel like the red hair and blue eyes is really too far...
I really love the interaction and the style of this though! I've been interested in Mongolian history for some time now after a friend of mine who took Mongolian history in college started telling me about it.

I don't know any Mongols personally, but I found this on the Wiki page: "The vast majority of Mongols have black hair and brown eyes, although a certain number of Mongols, particularly the Oirat tribe in western Mongolia tend to exhibit lighter features such as fair skin, blue or green eyes, varying shades of brown hair, and sometimes even red or blonde hair." I didn't know this until today so I thought I would share

That is very interesting. I suppose I just feel that making the oldest son who was most likely of another father look different would have had a bit more sense to it. There's no sign that either BΓΆrte nor Temujin (Genghis) was light haired, skin, or eyes, and since those are supposed to be his legitimate children with her (and not just his 100 other kids lol) I think it might have made more sense switched. Of course artists have free will and reign, it just takes a little away from the picture for me, in my personal opinion. XD

i love this soooo much. their expressions are just... beyond this world. OuO i do feel a bit sorry for jochi though. 
i love how the Jochi's haircolour is like his mother's - you can see the contrast between him and the other kids. :> ah, you really are brilliant, phobs.
