This is amazing. There is so much depth, emotion, and reality here, I can't even begin to say how moving it is, even from the perspective of someone who doesn't know the backstory to the piece. This is really incredible!

Expressions and blood detail are so well done, and even though it's a dark setting the contrast between everything is still superb (if that makes sense...).
I must say, I am guilty of being one of those people that 'relate' a piece of work to something else...and feel the need to point it out. I just saw the thumbnail, and it instantly made me think of the death of Fred Weasley in Harry Potter. Sorry if you're miffed, but the scene...ahhh.

Have I ever told you how your art inspires me? The faces, hair, clothes, the way they move, speak and their body structures, the shadows.
