Plus I love the movie, and I wanted to draw a...movie art 8/

I've always wanted to see this movie. Β What's it about? What exactly is happening in the picture?

Well, in short, it's about the fight of Jewish pianist to stay alive during World War 2 in Poland - based on a true story.
On the picture we see said pianist receiving bread and other food from a German Army captain. That captain secretly helped the pianist to survive.

Omg the book is amazing, better than the movie if that is possible. They added a lot of Polanski's own experiences into the film.
The book had a lot more in depth details of his brother and sisters.
Over all a tragic yet beautiful movie of courage and hope despite the worst conditions and human suffering imaginable.

Oh my god. I just finished watching The Pianist a couple minutes ago... Best movie I've ever seen so far. My favorite, omg, I'm surprised I managed not to cry! It's gonna stick with me forever, or at least I'm not forgetting it soon, that's for sure.
