Они просто разные.
Сразу скажу,что Штирлиц посолиднее и более последователен. "Щит" слишком перепичкан большим количеством мелких эпизодов,которые сбивают с толку и не дают нормально следить за основной линией сюжета. Ну и Белов...не Штирлиц,хоть и раньше появился,нет в нем светлой меланхолии советского разведчика x)
Плюс - если Штирлиц исторически наивен, то "Щит" вообще труба x))
Хотя все это не умаляет того,что фильм замечательный)) Шварцкопф все же первая роль Янковского))
