I had a lot of fun with this one! This is Daniel (currently paraplegic) of Stargate and his new sweetheart Tanya (OC) from my fanfic "When it Rains..." that actually starts with "Caught out in the Rain" [link]Awe...they are just so cute together!
Why is Daniel wheeling around in a mauve wheelchair? Well, his shirt is already black, his pants are already green, and her dress is already blue...so I needed another colour that matched all of that.
Thanks to everyone who pointed things out to me along the way to make this better!

Actually the wheelchair color is pretty accurate. The style of chair is an antique and red velvet and leather was a very common color scheme.

I so need to start getting online more often - I'm missing all the good stuff like this! *smacks self* This is really beautiful work! It's just so cute, and I love how they blend in so well with the background photo (and wow, that's an awesome stock photo you found.)
Actually, the chair looks more cranberry colored than mauve to me. Still, it's probably pink enough for O'Neill to give him a hard time about it.

Out of curiousity how did you make the wheels on the chair look so rubbery? They look very realistic.

For the Wheels I put a 'grain' filter on them and then ran a very faint 'smudge' brush over them in the direction of the grain.
