I painted a piece of black glass and flipped it over to the unpainted side to take some pics of my snakes.This one was the best shot of the night.
Archer is a piebald ball python, a genetic morph that causes white patches and an aberrant pattern.

Oh man.... I really want a little female piebald. But just about all morph types are expensive. My little guy was only 40 at a pet store in Miami.

I'm breeding some this year. Males will be 300-400$ plus shipping depending on how much white they have.

That's a nice price compared to what I've been seeing. I might be able to save that up, depending on if I can get a job or not, haha. Keep me posted, I'll definitely be interested.

The males go for 500-700 on the mass market at the moment. I'm trying to breed them to make them a little more available to hobbyist.

They are breeding right now, should have eggs in 60-90 days and babies 60 days after that.

They are! I have a corn snake, but he's just so hyper that it's hard to just chill with him. I've heard that balls are big couch potatoes, haha. And they're just so chubby and adorable. x3

Out of my 11 ball pythons, *one* of them is not a couch potato. All the others will just hang out where ever you put them, when I clean tanks I just put the snake on the floor, fifteen minutes later they are still there. But my one big gal she's a mover and a shaker, she never holds still I can't even get a decent picture of her.

Haha yeah, that's what I need. I love my corn snake, but he makes me nervous if a friend wants to hold him because he likes to move around a lot and tends to be nippy. He makes it hard to just relax, because I have to totally pay attention the whole time I'm handling him. xD

He has awesome markings
I like snakes and reptiles, as little kid I catched lizards and small non-poison snakes, beacuse I liked the touch of their skin (and then I let them go, of course). Majorly slowworm (I donΒ΄t know if this is the term, but itΒ΄s called also "lizard without legs" beacuse of evolution), he lived in our garden and after while he wasnΒ΄t affraid of me and I could catch him anytime. But he was one from hundreds and I canΒ΄t tell, why - perhaps he liked warmth of my hand. Who knows

Pieds do have the most fascinating patterns to them, I love them.
There are a few legless lizards, most common is the Glass Lizard...but normally they are *very* mean. You were lucky to come across one that liked you.
I love my python collection, they get the best juice rats!
