It is 'technically' spelled Amelia, but my dad wanted to be different. He wanted to nickname me Lea...only recently did I realize that he probably did that because of Princess Leia ...I love my dad!...Also, he told me, that if I had been born a boy and my mom allowed it, my name would be Atreyu...The Neverending Story is one of his favorite movies...He is such a nerd...

On the other hand, my mom would never have allowed the name! Also, she doesn't like the name Lea so, for as long as I can remember, my nickname has been Bugs...no joke. And I still respond to it in public places...people look at me funny, but I don't care. We're all a bunch of crazies anyways!

not really, my dad chose my name, probably cos of the singer kim wilde in the 80s :s i like my name, but its more common nowadays and plus, my surname is literally everywhere :s

Yea, I've heard that name...at least it's not something like Smith. I have relatives, an old friend, and a high school teacher from grade school who all have that name. And, of course, they're not related.
