Description The giant guards standing near the podium waited as the humans approached, toting their prisoner for the exchange in a bared cage. He would be the expendable one that would be like a...gift, to the giant prince, who had no others his age to really be with. It was a good exchange...better than just killing the sentenced human. Hopefully it would work out well.

Inside of the cage, Cyril sat despondently, not paying much attention to his passing surroundings. He tried to hope that living with this prince would be better than having his head cut off, but he just couldn't convince himself.

One of the guards shot him a brief, pitying glance as one of the giants knelt down. The human guard turned and unlocked the cage, beckoning for Cyril to cooperate and go peacefully. He didn't need to get the cuffs- Cyril no longer had a choice. If he knew what was smart, he wouldn't try and run with the giant guards around.

Silently, Cyril stood, stepping out of the cage. Briefly, he paused and clasped hands with one of the human guards. "Good luck," the guard whispered. Cyril nodded, turning to face the giants nervously.

Rather carelessly, the giant picked Cyril up, though he was careful not to squeeze the human. At least he didn't mean to purposefully. Cyril was put into a small container on the guard's belt. After a brief exchange of words with the human guards in regards from the king, the guard started off, the container swinging at his hip with every stride.

Cyril cringed, but he made no protest. When the giant began to walk, he pressed himself against the walls of the container in an attempt to get it to stop swinging. Needless to say, it didn't help.

It was awhile, but the guards were soon walking up the steps to a castle. They announced their arrival and the guard holding Cyril unhooked the "holder" from his hip. He didn't really pay the human inside much attention as he handed off the container to a butler that had been waiting. The new man took Cyril down the long hall of the castle to be prepped before given to the prince. He stepped into a bathroom, dumping Cyril out of the container into his hand.

Cyril grimaced at the rough treatment, and wanted to yell at the butler for it. But instead, he kept silent, waiting to see what would happen next. Yelling would be of no good to him.

The older butler silently moved to remove Cyril's prison clothing, pulling at the tattered shirt. He hummed in disapproval, not noticing the human's discomfort.

Cyril held up a hand to stop him before removing the shirt himself. He didn't want a giant undressing him. Cyril gave his just as tattered pants a slight tug, raising his eyebrows in a question, not wanting to break the silence.

The butler nodded affirmatively, allowing Cyril to do it himself. He turned briefly to the clean sink, running warm water in it and leaving a few things beside it- soap, a freshly-washed hand towel and a set of new clothes made to fit the human. Finally, the butler spoke, "I'll be back for you in fifteen minutes. Do not try anything and make yourself presentable." Then he left Cyril, though- annoyingly- left the door ajar.

Cyril sighed, but he finished stripping himself, sliding into the water. It was nice to clean up, at least. For most of the fifteen minutes, he splashed around happily in the water, though he washed himself first. When he thought his time was about up, Cyril climbed out and dried himself off, changing into the new outfit. He gave an approving smile. These clothes were nicer than any he'd had in a long while.

Right on time, as if he'd been waiting, the butler strode in. He seemed to at least approve of the change as he drained the water out of the sink and picked up the towel along with Cyril's old clothes, which he tossed into a nearby waste bin. In one swoop, he also picked up Cyril as well, and without warning. "Time to meet the prince," he stated shortly, though that was obvious. With the human in his hand, he walked up a staircase, leading to another corridor. He walked into a room...but seemed annoyed to find it empty of the person he'd been looking for. Sighing, he sent Cyril down on a dresser in the neat, large bedroom. "I'll be back with the prince...wait here," he ordered, leaving.

As if Cyril really had anywhere to go.

Cyril was upset to be handled so roughly and so suddenly, but he kept his mouth shut. When he was set on the dresser and told to stay put, he sat down again, looking around to see if he could figure out what the prince was like by how his room was kept.

The room was relatively neat aside from a few things scattered about here and there. Golf clubs sat in the corner and several portraits of the prince hung on the walls, which were painted a light blue. Along with a shelf of novelties in the corner, there were a few odds and ends scattered about the room including a sketch book left on the bed. The large room seemed empty because of how spacious it was...but it was obvious the prince wasn't very old by the way he kept his room. Suddenly, loud footsteps came pounding down the hall quickly, followed by laughing and a woman's scolding voice. The footsteps approached the room Cyril was in.

That would probably be the prince... Cyril thought to himself, backing away from the edge of the dresser in the hopes that he wouldn't be noticed immediately. Maybe the prince was short enough to not see him? With his luck, though, he doubted it.
