"Hey now... don't cry..." he said in an attempt at a comforting voice, patting her shoulder. "We're not going to kill you..."

"But..." Naomi said with quivering breaths. "I don't even know how I'll get home... and I'm tied up here like some kind of... freak show..."

"No, you're tied up like a dangerous giant," he corrected her gently.

Naomi ignored him. "It was bad enough when I was teased for being fatter than everyone, but now that I'm huge, I'm some kind of monster!" Naomi continued sobbing.

He sighed, clearly unsure what to do to calm her down. He exchanged looks with the men on the ground, but they all shrugged as well.

(Question: Do you get irritated by my reposting?)
Naomi occasionally jerked against her bonds, but they were securely tied. All she accomplished was hurting herself more, and she cried some more.Β

((Only if it's not more than just rewording the exact same thing.))
"Would you cut that out?" he snapped, staying on top of her shoulder despite her jerking. "Look, whatever the verdict is, we're not going to kill you... well, unless you do something threatening, and I don't think you're that stupid..."

"W-Well... I'll try..." Naomi nervously said. "I-I just want to go home, and I don't know where that is..." Just then, a huge rumbling noise came from Naomi's large stomach. Naomi whined painfully. She forgot that she hadn't eaten anything since lunch yesterday. She was starving! Β

"Oh great..." he muttered. "Where in the world are we going to find enough food for a giant?"
π: 0 β©: 1
nameless-phantom In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-02-16 04:17:11 +0000 UTC]
One look at Naomi, and one would assume that it would take a lot of food to satisfy someone like her, even at normal size! Even though Naomi doesn't like gorging herself (unless it's her favorite food, or food she cooked herself...), it would probably still make a huge dent in their food supply... Naomi looked at the tiny person on her shoulder. "Please... I haven't eaten since yesterday afternoon..." Her bared stomach made more angry sounding noises. "At least pull down my shirt for me..." She whispered, embarrassed by the growling.

(Oc- Logan. Short brown hair. Grey eyes. Age-24. Thin and tanned complexion)
Logan laid there a moment, completely out of it. He had enough sense not to move, though. He kept his chin up, so whatever sharp thing was against his neck wouldn't cut him. He could talk very well without doing that either. He couldn't even see whatever- or whoever, actually- was hold the sharp object to him.
"H-huh?" he managed, shifting only slightly.Β

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2014-02-08 18:08:53 +0000 UTC]
((k. I'll describe the people he's encountered when he sees them.))
"I said don't move!" the voice snapped, and the small blade thrust a little further into the skin of Logan's neck, though not enough to draw blood -yet. "If you value your life, you will remain completely still!"
π: 0 β©: 1
Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-02-08 18:13:02 +0000 UTC]
(Alright)
"Ack! Okay, okay." Logan said as well as he could, freezing. He didn't wish to die today. He honestly wasn't sure what was even happening here. Was he being mugged somehow? In...in the middle of a forest or something? Other than the knife he didn't feel very restrained...he could even see another person. "What do you want from me?"

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2014-02-08 18:22:39 +0000 UTC]
"What are you doing here?" a second voice asked, this one coming from a little behind his head and only a foot or so above the ground. No one bothered to answer Logan's question.
π: 0 β©: 1
Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-02-08 18:37:01 +0000 UTC]
Logan blinked, confused, but figured he should answer. "Um...just passing through, really. I mean no harm to you."
He shifted uncomfortably, trying to remember where exactly he was. But memory only provided that he was still lost...or rather wandering in this land. He wasn't even sure where. He hadn't noticed any people around the night before when he'd fallen asleep...
"Um, could you please remove the knife? I-it's sort of hard to talk like this..."
π: 0 β©: 1
Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2014-02-08 18:40:00 +0000 UTC]
"No," the first voice replied sharply.
"Not until we can be sure you're not a threat," the second told him a tad more gently.
A slight weight moved onto Logan's shoulder, and something gripped the collar of his shirt. "Keep your eyes closed and sit up," the second voice ordered. "Slowly."
π: 0 β©: 1
Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-02-08 18:43:25 +0000 UTC]
Logan obliged, though the command was a bit peculiar. So were the movements he felt. It was as if something small was on him.
He sat up carefully, resisting the urge to peek. "What do you want?" he asked again. "I just want to get through and go home with no trouble..."
Logan carried no real weapons on him. Just his pocket knife concealed in his jacket' inner pocket. I'll use it if I have to he thought to himself.
π: 0 β©: 1
Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2014-02-08 18:50:14 +0000 UTC]
"We want to keep ourselves and everyone else safe," replied the one who'd told his to sit up, his voice remaining next to Logan's ear the whole while. As Logan had sat up, the weight on his shoulder had shifted to that it stayed on top of his shoulder without falling off. The one blade against his throat had lifted, though not before another pressed itself against the nerve cluster on the side of his neck. "There is a tree not far behind you. Scoot back until your back is against it, and then remain still."
π: 0 β©: 1
Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-02-08 19:08:59 +0000 UTC]
"Whoa, careful with that thing." Logan said, worriedly. Though now he was getting this weird thought. The knife was pretty small compared to him...it felt more like a sharp small pen tip. He was hesitant to allow himself to be restrained. He tried talking to stall. "Why would I be a threat? I'm not armed or anything and there are two of you...you out number me."
π: 0 β©: 1
Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2014-02-08 19:14:29 +0000 UTC]
"More than two, actually," the first voice piped up, oddly coming from only about a foot off the ground. "There are a dozen men here with longbows, ready to make you look like an oversized pincushion if you try anything."
"I'll explain when you have your back to that tree," the second voice told him. "Now move."
((The tree should be fairly small, though, thin enough that he can put his arms around it like a telephone pole.))

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-02-08 19:30:41 +0000 UTC]
(Okay. I think I'll use that to my advantage...)
Logan could only imagine the scene around them. He gulped, doing as asked.
π: 0 β©: 1
Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2014-02-08 19:35:41 +0000 UTC]
((Okay. He shouldn't be able to pull it up, though, if that's what you're planning...))
As soon as his back touched the tree, someone wrapped a thin rope around his waist, tying him to it. "Put your hands together on the other side of the tree," he was instructed. "Once we've tied them together, you can open your eyes."
