*This actually has next to nothing to do with Lilliput, though it is G/t.Rules:
Write something worth reading! This is a biggie. I simply will not respond to horrible starting posts. Bad comments later on will receive a warning. (Likely after I ignore it for a few days)
Paragraph form, not script form.
No having an overpowered character!
Nothing fatal.
No swearing. (you can say that they swore, or use something like 'Dang frizzle frazzle phooey to the nth degree,' but don't actually swear. (Also, interwebz cookie to the first person to name where I got that from.))
No fetish related stuff.
No sex. None. I won't RP that.
If you switch, I still want a good starting comment. I will ignore any that just say 'switch'

Logan sighed, putting his hands around...a really short tree. With his back against it, some branches poked him harshly. He shifted his shoulders, trying to get comfortable against the tree, but finding that no matter what way he sat, he would not be. "Alright, if you have so much defense against me, why restrain me?"

"Because we'd rather not have to keep our bows pointed at you all the time," he replied as Logan's wrists were firmly tied together with the same thin rope. "You can open your eyes now, but don't move."
Once Logan opened his eyes, he would see the reason they were all so wary of him: none of the men surrounding him with arrows trained on his heart were over a foot tall. Neither was the one with his sword against Logan's neck, who was sitting on his shoulder currently. Someone climbed the tree with another rope, which was tied around Logan's neck. Then both men climbed down again, backing well away so that not one of Logan's small captors were within his reach.

Logan gapped in genuine shock. He stared at the men. His immediately reaction was to scoot away from the surprise, but his restraints kept him from doing anything but shaking the tree a bit, going nowhere. "Oh my gosh!!" he said loudly, biting his lip afterwards from his loudness. "I- you're...y-you're!..." he shudders, his eyes darting around.

"You got a problem?" the man who had been sitting on his shoulder asked, resting on hand on his sword, currently sheathed, but ready to draw at any moment.

Logan repeatedly shook his head. "N-no! No, no, no problem...here. At all." he said, pulling his legs closer to the rest of him. He couldn't believe it! He'd been tied up...by people several times smaller than him!

"You sure seem rather nervous..." he commented with a slight smile. "No matter. Allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Colonel Tremayne. That's Sargent Wilkinson. The bowmen can introduce themselves. What's your name?"

Logan stared down at the man who'd addressed him. Was he serious? Really? Tied Logan up and then asked what his name was like they were non-hostile buddies. He frowned, deciding to stay silent to that. He wasn't giving them his name...

"Fine, whatever," he said with a shrug. "Don't tell us. What are you doing here, however?"

Logan shifted. "...I already told you. Passing through. I'm actually kind of lost. I didn't even know you...little people lived around here."

"We're not little!" the sargent protested belligerently, folding his arms across his chest angrily. "You're a giant!"
"Where were you headed?" the colonel asked, ignoring his subordinate.

Logan shrugged. "To visit my sister and a friend. Where I'm from everyone is my size..."

"Of course they are," Colonel Tremayne said. "Makes perfect sense that you'd be from a place populated by giants, after all."

Logan shook his head. "I'm not a giant...you're small. What are you gonna do to me, anyway? I can't stay tied up!"

"You are a giant," the colonel snapped. "Once we've determined how much of a threat you are, we'll act accordingly."

Logan didn't want to ask what that could mean for him.
"Hey, that's not fair!" he tried to defend. "For all you know, I'm just a traveler passing through! I promise, I'm not here to do anything. I didn't even know you lived around here."

"I'm willing to accept that as a possibility," Colonel Tremayne said, frowning up at Logan. "However, we must also consider the possibility that you're here on purpose and want to harm someone. Ransack a village, perhaps. Your kind often try that sort of thing..."

Logan sighed. How to get out of this?
"Well...how can I prove I'm not a pirate or raider? I guess I sort of get that you are trying to protect yourselves against me...but I'm not out to get you." he tried again.

"Well, I can't think of anything at the moment," Colonel Tremayne said, frowning. "The truth is, I'd really rather be wrong and keep you tied up as an innocent than be wrong and have you go flatten a town or something."

Logan sighed. "Guess I'm not leaving anytime soon then..."
It was about then that his stomach decided to make it known he was hungry. It growled loudly.

"Oh, great..." the colonel said, frowning. How were they supposed to feed a giant?!

Logan looked down, sheepish. "Sorry...haven't really eaten anything since yesterday afternoon..."
It was the truth. Ironically, when he'd came around here, it had become hard to get food that was...filling enough. Now that Logan thought about it, he realized why that was...

"I'm afraid that you may just have to wait a while longer," Colonel Tohen said with a frown. "We aren't well enough equipped to feed a giant."

Logan sighed, a bit irritated now. "Fine. Whatever...well what are you gonna do, then? Stare at me all day?"

"Possibly," the colonel replied. "Do you have any better suggestions?"

"Oh, I dunno...maybe figuring out something that works?" he suggested, giving the colonel another look. "Surely you've seen a gia- err, person my size before."
'Just what sort of people he was dealing with here?' he wondered, though did not find it very funny. 'Don't they get by now that I'm not gonna do anything??'

"Yes," Colonel Tohen replied, his expression hard. "A giant tore apart my village when I was six. Completely merciless."

Logan stopped talking at that. He looked at Tohen, then looked away with a sigh. Now he felt sort of bad...but that didn't mean he was like that.
"I...I'm sorry for that." he answered quietly, knowing it meant little to nothing. "I really am...but I'm just not-..." he fell silent, wondering if it would truly matter how many times he said the same thing. It wouldn't matter. It seemed they already had an opinion about 'his kind'. As if he were the same as the other terrible people that used their size to their advantage...
He wanted to say something else, but another- younger- one of the people came into the small clearing and caught his attention. It looked like the young man had ran a long way and was out of breath.
"Sir!" he addressed colonel Tohen, though he was staring at Logan, wide eyes. Apparently Logan wasn't the most important thing at the moment though- there was a different urgency to his voice. "Colonel Tohen!"

The colonel had been going to respond to Logan again, but he turned to the newcomer. "What is it?" he asked.

"They...they're back." he panted. "They're coming fast on the coast- too close to prepare. What...what do we...?" he was trying to relay information fast, but he was also trying to slow down his racing heart. One of the others offered him water from a canteen.
Logan was listening, wondering what was wrong. Another giant or something? No...the teen had said "they". That meant more than one...
"More giants?" he had to ask.
The other looked to him, hesitant to answer, but shook his head. "No. Our enemy."

"Oh, bother," Colonel Tohen muttered. "Have a seat and rest, lad," he said to the messenger. "How many of them?" Turning to Logan, he asked, almost reluctantly, "How would you like a chance to prove yourself?"

"Four ships could be seen closing in when I left." he answered. "But we know they never have that few."
A few of the men looked shocked that Colonel Tohen would even suggest such a thing. Logan seemed a bit surprised at that too. A chance?
Though one soldier dared to speak up. "After what giants have done to us in the past? I don't trust not one of 'um! And I sure don't think different of this 'ne either."
One of the bowmen spoke up, now also having an opinion. "It has to be a trick! For all we know he'll help the enemy destroy us!"
Logan frowned, determined to defend himself. "No, I won't! And if you don't trust me, it sounds like you won't even have a chance."

"Unfortunately, he's right," the colonel said with a sigh. "Most of our troops are far away and they wouldn't get here in time. Much as I hate to put my trust in a giant... I'm afraid he may just be our only hope."
One of the other bowmen nodded, a fierce look on his face. "I'm with you," he said. "But if he tries anything, I'm going to shoot him straight in the heart."
"You do that," Colonel Tohen said with a faint smile. Turning to Logan, he asked, "Well?"

Logan didn't exactly appreciate the comment about being shot, but he nodded. "Yeah. But my, err, hands are sort of tied at the moment." he said, shifting a little.

"Hold still," General Tohen said. "I'll get them." Drawing his sword, he sliced through both the rope binding Logan's hands together and the one tying his waist to the tree. Now the only thing still restraining him was the cord tied around his neck. "By the way," the colonel said, starting to climb the tree. "Since we're going to be working together now... what's your name, anyway?"

"My name's Logan." he answered simply, trying not to move to suddenly and risk getting pin-cushioned with of arrows for it. He rubbed his wrists. He had started to get rope run from the thick ropes.
He waited for the general to finish untiring him. "But who's attacking? Why?"

Soon enough, the colonel had reached the place where the last cord was, and he sliced through it. "A neighboring kingdom," he replied, starting back down the tree. "We've been at war for a long time..."

Logan sat up slowly, glad he no longer felt like he was being choked. That had been uncomfortable. "Oh. Well we should go then. Should someone go with me so your people don't freak out when I appear? I don't want to scare them too bad."

"We'll all be going," the colonel said, "as soon as I've gotten down again. So you won't have to worry about that..."

Logan sighed turning to him. "That'll take too long if I wait up for everyone. C'mon, me and you can go on ahead. Which way is your village...or town...you know."
Not really considering the consequences, he carefully plucked the man from the tree before he even reached the ground.

"Hey!" the colonel cried, squirming in his grip.
"Put. Him. Down!" the archer from before growled, notching an arrow quickly and pulling back, aiming straight for Logan's heart. "Now!" The threat was left unsaid, but it was clear that if Logan didn't comply, he would soon have an arrow in him. More than one, it seemed, for the other archers also put arrows to their bowstrings, looking about to fire.

Logan froze, trying to keep from a) dropping the colonel and b) not getting shot. Though he dared not to comply, he cupped the man carefully, looking at the archers seriously, though trying to appear non-threatening. "If we don't go now, your neighbors are gonna get to you before I can get there to help. You said you'd trust me- I'm trying to prove myself."
?He stopped there, waiting for a response.

"Well, you're doing a poor job of it so far," Colonel Tohen growled up at him. "Put me down! If you won't respect such a simple request, then I don't think you can be trusted with anything more important."
All the archers held their fire for now, but they didn't lower their bows or lessen the tension on the strings.

Logan frowned, not wanting to ruin his chance. "I'm afraid not, colonel. And I don't have time to argue with you."
Quickly he stood up, towering over the smaller people. He glanced down at them, careful with where his feet were. "I wouldn't shoot if I were you. If I fall, it could be bad."
It wasn't so much a threat as a warning. Slowly he looked around, still with the general in hand. He spotted the shore not far off and started for it, figuring that was where he need to go.

The colonel quieted, but he was scowling, clearly mad about being kidnapped like this. The archers didn't fire except for the one who'd first threatened him, who loosed his arrow, sending it deep into Logan's stomach. "Put him down, you monster!" he shouted.

(Yes, I know...I'm actually quite confused as to who's who...)
Logan wince sharply, hissing and muttering a few dark things. "Ow." he moaned, holding his stomach with his free hand. It hurt him pretty bad and he could feel blood seeping through his shirt. When he touched it, it hurt worse.
He pulled out the small, but painful projectile, glaring down at the man. "What is wrong with you?? Argh, honestly, I don't even see why in even try to help you people after what you've been doing to me!"

"What is wrong with you?" the archer snapped back, glaring back up at him, another arrow already on his bowstring. "Put him down! Can't you tell he doesn't like being held? You said that you want us to trust you, but how can we, when you're kidnapping out commanding officer?"

Logan frowned. "He needs to come with me. It'll take too long any other way. I swear to put him down when we get there. He has to come along with me ahead of you guys to get to your village...that is if you have a village by the time I get there."
He still glanced down to the colonel in question. "Fine. Your call then. What'll it be?"

"Put me down," he growled. "We can still get there fast enough. Perhaps if you'd asked first instead of just grabbing me, we could've done it your way, though."
