Robin nodded. "Yes. Did you cause me to appear here from my own home, or was that some other magic which did it?"

"Drat." Robin might have followed that up with some far stronger words, but he wasn't sure how the giant would take to that, so he kept silent.

Gavin smiled softly. "M-my name is Gavin...it's nice to meet you, Robin..." He said, and either his voice was naturally soft, or he was simply whispering to spare the tiny man's hearing, because it wasn't as loud as it could've been

((Got it.))
Robin nodded, scooting back on the shelf. "Can you leave a glow-rock with me? I'm afraid I left mine at home, not having expected an adventure to suddenly whisk me away."

Darksonicboom In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-07-14 03:11:28 +0000 UTC]

He nodded, opening a dresser drawer before pulling out a single glow stick, cracking it and shaking it until the contents glowed with a soft green light. "Is this okay?" He asked, putting it on the shelf by Robin

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Darksonicboom [2014-07-14 03:47:55 +0000 UTC]
Robin was a little startled by the sudden movement, but far more startled when, seconds after the huge door slammed shut, he found himself back in his own chambers. The glowstick was gone, as was all other signs of his having visited a giant. Muttering, Robin shook his head, sitting down on his bed. Then he sighed, getting up again. He wasn't sure if this might happen again, and if it did, he wanted to be ready. The first thing he did was strap on his sword. Then he started to fill the pockets of his vest with everything he thought he might need in a giants' world.

Darksonicboom In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-07-14 03:52:43 +0000 UTC]
(What, no toy~?)
Gavin, having no idea that Robin had gone back to his world, or even that he had left, went downstairs to greet his friend, opening the door and smiling. "Hey, Cole~"
The older, meaner boy came in, smirking as he ruffled Gavin's hair, something he knew the shy boy didn't like. "Hey pipsqueak~"

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Darksonicboom [2014-07-14 04:07:34 +0000 UTC]
((Hm... gotta think of what kind of toy resembling Gavin he might have...))
After Robin was finished, the vest was just marginallyΒ heavierΒ than before, and he smiled. Another part of the spell around it, which made this article of clothing one of his most treasured possessions. Equipped now to face whatever he may have to, Robin went for some food. As he ate, he thought about what that giant boy had said. He'd swapped places with... a toy. Going back to his room, Robin rummaged through a chest in the corner until he found a small wooden doll, which he held in his hand, looking at it pensively. Had he been this small to that giant?

Darksonicboom In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-07-14 04:10:56 +0000 UTC]
(XD I was thinking he'd be made of wood too~)
Gavin--after a few minutes of talking to his friend and getting Cole a snack--went back upstairs to check on Robin briefly, eyes widening to see his toy was back, but in a different position. He picked up the toy, stroking it gently before he put it under his pillow, like he always did. Then he grabbed the key out of the cupboard, suddenly noticing his closet had a lock. Curiosity then struck him. This key was old...and so was the cupboard, and the closet door's key hole was old-fashioned...would the key work in it?

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Darksonicboom [2014-07-14 04:17:10 +0000 UTC]
((Really? Cool.))
After a little while of looking at the doll, Robin put it back down again, on top of the chest. He sighed. Would he ever know what had happened? And would he be suddenly whisked away again?

Darksonicboom In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2014-07-14 04:23:05 +0000 UTC]
Gavin--not noticing Cole coming into the room, tried out the key in his closet's keyhole, surprised that it fit. He unlocked it again, then opened the door to grab another sweater while leaving the key in the hole, gasping when he was shoved into the closet, turning as the door slammed. He pounded on the door before he heard the lock click, then he suddenly was somewhere he didn't recognize, his heart pounding as he looked around, yelping at seeing a massive 'giant' not far from him, falling on his butt and trying to scramble away from it
