Okay, this is a redo of my first Fan Art/Fic, Stargate Metamorphisis: [link]I've always liked this particular idea.
I've started the re-write. It can be found here [link] on my account.
Yes, I took a background from one of my earlier paintings of Ancient Tree. I did this because I've irritated my Ulnar Nerve and I've been told not to draw....that's not going to happen, but I can cut corners to help my hand.

I have to say, I think this is the single most entertaining picture I've ever seen in the Stargate fandom. Especially since I'm rewatching some episodes and I'm fairly certain I've just seen Daniel with the exact same expression. Followed directly by Jack's.... I love it.

it might be more interesting if the characters occupied different plains of the image with variations to the *side*view, and a bit more attention to a variation in the character's size ?

Very intresting that you should mention their size...there is an exsplaintion. It will be in the story when I write it. It has to do with the laws of physics. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed...so they are all the same size as they where when they were human and the same size in relation to one another.
As for occupying diffrent plains of the image...I drew all four of them on separate paper and had to edit them together...making having them in diffrent plans very difficult.
Since this is just a silly drwaing I didn't feel like putting that much effort into things like perspective.

It took about three days, probably 5 hours worth of work. I did the drawings during class, so I didn't waste any of my 'real' life on it. Heehee.
Now I need to get to work on doing up a story for it.

Heehee. Jackalson is far too curious for his own good. It's just lucky for him that he's got freinds in really high places that are always kind enough to let him run around the fabic of space and time and then are nice enough to drop him off in a new body.

Colouring is the best part! Line work, inking the line work...I *hate* doing that.

I bet you did. Once I find my digital camera I'll take a picture of the painting I did. But it wasnt on the computer, it was done on actual canvas. Personally, I think it looks like crap...
