Quite the collection of characters we have here!
Friends from all over have gathered for a rousing round of Smash, but it seems Rutger got a bit too cocky.

Their party was almost complete: Vol, Pepper and Jude were already lounging in the living room while Fayre was preparing drinks in the kitchen and her boyfriend was standing watch on the balcony for the last guest the ring-tailed couple had invited.
“How long is that cowgirl gonna take?” Pepper complained as she leaned backwards over the armrest of the couch, the red panda wasn’t known for her patience. “It’s been forever!”
“It’s only been 10 minutes since you came in, Pepper!” Rutger shouted from the balcony and as if on cue, the distinct roar of a V8 engine sounded from a few streets away, gradually becoming louder and louder until Jenda’s pitch-black Dodge Charger swung around the corner. “Heh. Speak of the devil and she shall appear…”

“Y’all ready to have yer butts kicked!?” The southern cat boasted, while the Gamecube booted up with its famous jingle. “I reckon y’all wouldn’t last 5 minutes against me! I’ve been practicin’, don’tcha know?”
Super Smash Bros. Melee was the name of the game, and everyone was in it to win it, friendly gettogether or not.
Most of those victories went to Rutger, however, and after winning 8 out of 10 matches the raccoon was understandably getting a bit cocky. “Are you guys even trying? I feel like I still win with my hands tied!”
That last line grabbed Faye’s attention. “Oh, really now~?” And only after seeing the ferret’s devious smirk did Rutger realise what he said.
In the next tense moments, knowing glances were exchanged between Faye and all present guests.

And then Pepper, Jude, Vol and Jenda all pounced on the previously smug ringtail, pinning his limbs down while Faye dashed into the bedroom and came back with entire drawer in which she stored her bandana collection and poured it out over her boyfriend’s head. “Go get him, guys!”
“What? Faye! No, guys, please I was just jokinnmmmph!!”, coloured cloths were flying around him as his friends tightly bound and gagged him with Faye’s entire stash of big, soft cotton bandanas.

“Finally.” The ferret chuckled. “Now we can have a fair tournament.”

Pepper, Rutger Faye and Jude all belong to me.
