Of course, you're so welcome.  I'm so glad the Makorra fandom is still there, though more quiet because of the "Korrasami" fans and backlash. You know, I'm hearing whispers and rumors and reading comments that the Turf Wars comics isn't exactly doing all that well. Many of the pages were leaked online and sales for the comic when it came out on 7/26 weren't record-breaking as they hoped, despite what is says on Amazon. Many people were unhappy with the writing and how it was a little too centered on the idealistic acceptance of Korra and Asami. You know, I'm hoping that it flops, crashes and burns. Not because of Korrasami....I'm not against gays, I don't believe in hurting and degrading ANYONE for being who they are...but because of Mike and Bryan's (the creators) arrogance, snide remarks, poor planning, and disrespect for fans who hoped to see a better ending and resolution for the story. I honestly feel the whole thing could have been handled better. *sigh* Ahh well. Again, this was so beautiful, please keep it up.

Well where did you here thoese whispers and rumors about the turf wars sales because that interesting.

i would say most people who shipped Makorra have  just left the fandom for obvous reasons.

Once in a while I would check out some Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook sites, and I do know there are some reviews on the comic were not very favorable. I've also checked comic book sales rankings and Turf Wars isn't anywhere near the top. I've even read some called it nothing but glorified fan-fiction. While Turf Wars sales started out slightly impressive, I'm getting the feeling that it tanked, although no one is coming out and saying it. In a way, I'm glad it did, and in a way, I feel sorry for some of the fans. Many people wanted to see Mako and Korra work their issues out, many were rooting for them. I was glad that the Avatar universe and franchise would be continued, but it just wasn't in the right way in many people's opinion. I've said this before and I'll say it a thousand times...while I do slightly lean more towards a Mako and Korra ending and I understand part of the reasoning behind "Korrasami"...I would have also loved and accepted an open-ended finale, where it would be up to the audience to decide who Korra might have ended up with....if she would end up with anyone at all. I would have loved for the show to focus more on her accepting and growing in her role as the Avatar, not a messy love-triangle. :role: So yeah, that' my thoughts on it.

The sales for the comic as of now according to Comicchron is 8527 more then likely enough to make more so don't get our hopes up.
