Since some time ago, I was trying to make an amazon character for my little OC superheroes universe. A few month ago I did a WIP of her, but I have changed almost everything. Now, she is inspired on some different superheores, like Wonder Woman, Masters of the Universe, Thor and even Lara Croft for her origin.

Her human name is Belle, she is a bright paleontologist. During one of her expeditions, she was looking for a mythical sword that was stolen during the age of the Crusades. According to legend, powers from gods were kept inside the sword, which would give its owner extraordinary power. Belle didn't believe in legends, and always found the theoretically explanation for everything. But when she found the sword, she felt as if a lot of voices screamed instructions to her, so she put her arm up pointing the sword to the sky, and in a second, a blinding light transformed her in the blink of an eye and, in her head she had lots of ancient memories, as if she had lived all those experiences.

Now she is Bellatrix, a lightning amazon, and she can call her powers invoking them through the lightning sword when she needs to use them...
