If Katie’s cheeks weren’t so bruised her blushing would be obvious. “Please don’t. I’m already embarrassed for losing.”

Jen cocks her head back. “Well fuck you too for losing to a wimp like me.”

Katie chuckles. “That’s not what I meant. You fought beautifully. Reminds me of how Rebecca and I used to wrestle and…” Katie pulls Jen in closer.

“Nope!! Wrong tree! I don’t respond well to barking, of any kind.” Jen tries to free herself from Katie's grip but to no avail.

Katie weakly smiles. “Ok weirdo, I get it. Good fight is all I’m trying to say.”

Jen smiles as she tries to push Katie off her but doesn’t have the energy to do so and settles with a light pat on Katie's back.

"You know if this was a wrestling match, things would’ve ended… differently.”

Jen weasels out of Katie’s grip. “perhaps someday we’ll know. But right now we both need a shower.”
