Appearance - A lean she-cat with medium long fur around her body with the exception of her chest and paws were the fur is longer and quiet fluffy making her look bigger, her tail is long and messy and her head is small with fur which often covers her eyes. Her fur is white with light grey covering the majority of her body except her paws and tail. She also has darker grey markings along her back and curled around her hindlegs. Has several markings on her face including a set of three freckles under each of her eyes which are a clear green-blue colour.

Personality - Turbulent Entertainer -
Mapledreams is the very definition of outgoing. She is an incredibly cheerful and friendly she-cat and goes around the den and camp making friends in every corner. She finds friend making a hobby and is talented in being able to chat non-stop for quite a long period of time. She's a little clumsy, but usually covers it up by pretending that she made the mistake on purpose. Now that she has reached the age where she can leave camp she often wanders the borders hoping to make friends in other clans and is awaiting the next gathering with joy. Mapledreams has an interest in unusual things and she used to be fascinated by her little sister Wolfkit who she would sneak up on and try to surprise, her sister had heterochromia which she adored and the loss of her sister shocked her and causes her to latch onto those she meets with dual coloured eyes.

History - Born to the former loner Whitenose and his clanborn mate Starlingfeather as the third born of the litter. Born alongside Scalekit, Eveningkit and Wolfkit.
Kithood
- Met some of her denmates.
- Accidentally met Thicketpaw her cousin after crashing into the apprentices den.

Starlingfeather - That's ma mums name of course, she's great and been great my whole life, we don't talk no more but so long as she's comfortable in the elders den that's enough for me, I know dad's death was hard on her and raising the three of us on her own couldn't of been easy and I respect her more then anyone for that. She deserves her new happiness and I don't plan on intruding on that.

Jaggedclaw had been laying low, since Blackstar snarled at him for taking out Kitefeather during a sparring session. Rather than causing trouble, Jaggedclaw felt he should contribute to Highclan in some way. It would also help keep the boredom away. The tom looked around the camp for any warrior, and after he looked past some apprentices and other mill cats, he found a cat he knew to be of real Highclan blood.
The warrior headed over to the other warrior and grunted, "Are you busy? Want to go on a patrol?"

Mapledreams looked up from where she was laid, it was a little surprising being spoken to so suddenly, she'd spent the majority of the day moping around and the idea of a patrol didn't exactly appeal to her but she supposed it'd be good for her. Get her mind off things. She didn't recognise the tom and he seemed a little uptight but it probably wouldn't hurt to help him out.
"Ye-yeah sure, I mean I'm not busy so I could patrol."

This cat didn't sound certain or confident, and that annoyed Jaggedclaw. Still, the grey cat accepted and while his only friend was in the Medicine Cat Den, Jaggedclaw needed to rely on other cats.
"Good. Lets go then," Jaggedclaw demanded, "The name's Jaggedclaw."
The warrior turned and started to walk away. He knew the other cat would catch up and he wanted to get the job done as soon as he could.

Usually such a response would have made the young she-cat laugh, she'd obviously irritated him and while she was sorry for that his attitude was still pretty amusing enough to make her follow. She scrambled up and ran after his before slowing to follow his pace.
"Whatever you say, I'm Mapledreams. I'll try to keep up but things have been tough lately, just a warning, you look capable enough though so we should be just fine." Trying to retain her usual carefree attitude just seemed awkward after that greeting.

Jaggedclaw looked down at Mapledreams, and thought over what she had said in his mind. Things had been tough for all, but easier now Highclan has territory of their own. If anything the warriors should have been getting better, not worse, which made Jaggedclaw think that maybe something was hindering Mapledreams. Normally such a thing would have annoyed Jaggedclaw, but Mapledreams had said he was capable, and implied that he was capable enough to support the both of them. This gave his ego a boost, and Jaggedclaw thought that Mapledreams wasn't that bad.
"Nice to meet you, Mapledreams," Jaggedclaw grumbled, and he looked away, "What do you mean by you will try to keep up? Is something wrong?"

"Uh nothing, forget what I said. I should be fine, we should be fine. Lead the way." Mapledreams smiled. The tom was a lot taller and tougher looking close up then she'd thought. It was understandable that someone who looked like that would be a good warrior and she didn't want to drag him down.
"So where do you plan on patrolling?"

Jaggedclaw was confused at the she-cat, but he didn't say anything more. He hoped that this condition of hers wouldn't impact their patrolling, but Mapledream had said he was strong enough for the both of them. So it made him somewhat more willing to see Mapledreams in a more positive light, and to see her of less of a burden.
"I wanted to patrol the Cloudclan border," Jaggedclaw answered, but then he stopped and considered Mapledreams for a moment, "If that border is too difficult, we can do another one. I don't know what is wrong, but I am not the type of cat to willing put my clanmates in danger for no reason."
At least, he wasn't like that to the cats he liked, and Mapledreams already had given him a good impression.

"No, no that should be fine!" She replied "A little bit of water never hurt anyone, besides if we run into anyone Cloudclan cats are waay happier then some of the other clans, at least I think so." Being out in the wild was definitely having an effect on her attitude, she should have tried coming out ages ago. She looked back at Jaggedclaw.
"Sooo lead the way, uhh patrol leader." Mapledreams continued still unsure of how to communicate with someone more serious then herself. "I'll look out for any danger."

Jaggedclaw didn't know if the Cloudclan cats were any nicer than the other clans, but Mapledreams was older and more experienced, so he would have to take her word for it. He hated all the other clans all the same, but if Mapledreams didn't wish to fight then he could try to restrain himself. Hopefully they would not run into a Cloudclan patrol.
Being called patrol leader sent a flickered of pride through Jaggedclaw and he held his head high as he marched along. Even if Mapledreams thought there was something wrong where she wasn't as efficient as another warrior, she was at least making herself useful. That was a good trait to have.
"Have you met many Cloudclan cats" Jaggedclaw asked in an attempted to be friendly, or at the very least, not rude.

"Uh... no. I wish. The gatherings haven't been happening as much otherwise I probably would have already tried to befriend the entire clan." She laughed. Okay so obviously Jaggedclaw thought little for the other clans, no big deal. She appreciated that other cats had different ideals to her, without them life would be pretty boring. Something these cats seemed to enjoy was a little bit of friendly insults to throw at the other clans. That seemed a good topic for now.
"Sometimes I wonder if they're not all that bright, ya know heads in the clouds? Maybe that's just me who thinks that though." Mapledreams laughed again, more genuine this time.

Jaggedclaw couldn't understand why Mapledreams would want to meet a Cloudclan cat. It seemed stupid to him, but he listened and learned that Mapledreams was nicer than he was. He could have guessed that easily from when he asked her to patrol. Still, he frowned when Mapledreams talked about befriending the clan but looked away. He was still trying not to be too rude in front of Mapledreams. He was pleased when Mapledreams said they weren't as smart, and finally there was something Jaggedclaw could agree on.
"You are not the only one that thinks they are not too bright," Jaggedclaw replied, "Cloudclans are airheads. They always have been and always will be, but they are still not as stupid as Lightningclan. At least they haven't tried to war with us."

((I am so sorry for the wait. Exams kept me pretty busy. I hope this is alright?))
Deathrose had been distant for a long time. Some cats seemed to understand, after all Deathrose had lost a lot on her life, and she was just getting on with her job. Others were concerned or judgmental, but the dark tabby ignored those opinions, because they didn’t matter. Finally, Deathrose felt safe, they were in a new territory and it seemed like nothing terrible was going to happen. She could start to open up, albeit slowing. But, the dark she-cat was ready to try.
So, when she had been assigned to lead a patrol by the deputy, the dark tabby had some trouble finding anyone she knew well enough to join her. Dark, forest green eyes fell on any old clanmate, and she decided that they were going to be her patrol buddy for the day.
“Mapledreams, is it?” Deathrose asked as she strolled over to the grey and white tabby, “Come with me.”

There wasn't much to do in camp without leaving and she decided she wouldn't leave camp without someone else, just in case. That seemed way more safe. Usually she'd be jumping around from cat to cat. Socialising with the ones she hadn't yet met. However just lately she hadn't been feeling it. There was a big space where her brother had once been and without him things just felt emptier. She looked up warily when the warrior approached her. A dark tabby she-cat. She'd been around longer then her by a long time. Deathrose right. Yeah Death. She spoke bluntly and didn't really give her a choice but she agreed anyway. She hadn't been paying attention, had she been chosen to lead patrol. If so what was it with cats coming to patrol with her lately?
"Uhh yeah. Patrol right?" She replied in her semi-confused state.

This grey and white tabby seemed a bit slow, but Deathrose didn’t particularly mind. The dark tabby was well aware that she ambushed her clanmate into joining her patrol, so it wasn’t like the other warrior knew what exactly what was going on. Oh well, at least they had been agreeable.
“Yes. I was thinking of patrolling one of the borders, but what would you prefer?” Deathrose asked, and she felt like if this was going to be a simple patrol then she should give her clanmate some choice. Besides, the aim of all of this was to open up and maybe make a friend. Being too bossy was counterproductive.
“My name is Deathrose, but you probably know that,” Deathrose added quickly, “Do you mind telling me yours?”

She nodded somewhat glad to know she'd guessed correctly. "It's Maple, Mapledreams I mean." She stretched out her front legs standing up properly, if cats were going to keep insisting on her patrolling with them she may as well do it with some good and happy vibes.
"I'm fine with wherever you wanna patrol, I... I have been a little slow and clumsy, uh aha more clumsy then usual I mean. I should warn you of that but I do have pretty good eyesight that might be useful to you."

This cat seemed a little odd, but Deathrose found herself not minding so much. She vaguely remembered bits and pieces of Mapledreams, not too much to even say she was acquaintances with the she-cat, but enough to know her name, and that a fair few members of her family had passed.
“Do you prefer Maple or Mapledreams?” Deathrose asked, to keep the conversation alive and to forge a type of bond. The dark tabby didn’t know if she would see the other warrior as a friend or ally, but time would tell.
Deathrose silently questioned how Mapledreams was slow and clumsy, but she decided not to ask. If the grey and white tabby wanted to tell her, then that was fine, but Deathrose found it rude to pry. She did however, slow her pace down so Mapledreams could keep up a bit easier.
“Your sharp eyes will be useful, especially in the mountains,” Deathrose said with a firm nod.

Mapledreams let herself think about this question for a moment. She needed to cheer up. It would be help and be nice to have somebody to talk to again and this she-cat seemed friendly enough although a little tough. Maple could totally see this she-cat facing down a sharptooth on her own though she decided to keep that to herself.
"Nobody alive calls me Maple anymore, so if you wanna, sorry, want to. I guess Maple is shorter so that's more useful if you're facing down a sharptooth and need to call for backup huh?" Starclan no. She was trying so hard to appear mature in front of this cool cat, that certainly hadn't helped.
"Ahem, I'll do my best." She nodded back.

Sorrow and understanding panged within Deathrose as she listened to how Mapledreams was no longer called by their nickname. Deathrose had lost so much herself, but it seemed worse that Mapledreams didn't have anyone close to them to called them by that name. At least Deathrose didn't have a nickname that she could miss.
"If you like, I could call you Maple," Deathrose offered, a little awkwardly, "Unless that is weird..."
Stupid. Deathrose could have clawed herself. Of course cats close to Mapledreams would have called her Maple, and Deathrose wasn't close to the grey and white tabby. So while Deathrose quietly worried in her mind, she tried to look cool, and in control on the outside, as she padded down the mountain path with Mapledreams.

The older warrior was extremely awkward but at least she was trying. And honestly the attempt was amusing and brought a smile to Mapledreams face. She continued following slightly behind the patrol leader being careful down the path, in her upbringing Maple had been known for tripping over the most insignificant pebble and bringing disaster through her clumsiness. She was awkward too, not socially but in her own way.
"Just call me whatever feels most comfortable I guess. As long as you're happy." Once upon a time, the extreme extrovert Maple would have told her to call her as such but she'd realised lately that not everyone was like that through her own time in that introverted state. She laughed trying to lighten the mood.
"And ya know, if you call me by a nickname I kinda have to do the same or it'd be weird so maybe Mapledreams is better."

Deathrose huffed under her breath and hoped that it was quiet enough for the grey and white tabby not to hear. At least the dark tabby she-cat could call Mapledreams anything she wished, and perhaps a nickname would make them closer or something along those lines. It didn’t seem like Mapledreams cared too much, and even sounded reluctant since Mapledreams thought it would mean giving Deathrose a nickname too.
“You don’t have to give me a nickname, if you don’t like. We can drop the subject,” Deathrose said curtly.
Things felt awkward to Deathrose and she focused walking along the mountain path. The path leads past the scorched rock, an odd, awful feeling almost hollow rock that seemed to heat easily from the sun’s rays. Nothing would be of interest there, but the border beyond it, Cloudclan’s border, was what Deathrose wished to patrol. She expected it to be a quiet and easy patrol.

"Uh right." Mapledreams wasn't sure if the dark tabby she-cat meant to be intimidating right now but it sure came across in her tone. "No nickname it is." She laughed trying to keep her tone light and happy.
"Soooo, what made you choose this path, y'know to patrol? We're heading for Cloudclan right?" Anything to break the silence, even if it made her look like an even bigger idiot, Maple was desperate to recover a happy lifestyle and outlook, moping and awkward silences would accomplish nothing.

Deathrose’s ears lowered slightly, as she padded along. The dark tabby had hoped things would be going well, after all Mapledreams seemed like a respectable cat and would be a decent friend. Now Deathrose made things awkward again, and it bothered her. When Mapledreams spoke, it pulled Deathrose out of her thoughts.
“Oh, well I prefer the trees and mist to the salty air,” Deathrose replied with a small shrug, “But I didn’t mind which path was taken. I felt this path was easier too.”
She continued to walk but felt better than she had previously. At least Mapledreams was also trying, so there was a potential friendship there.
“Do you have a border preference?” Deathrose asked, with mild interest.
