Behold, this is the great machine of random conversation.

First, the background. I've long been a bit dissatisfied with the fact that DeviantArt doesn't have anything resembling a music category. It's not like it's an exclusively visual art-showcasing site, what with stuff like interactive flash applications, games and ressources. But it's ok. This is also the reason for the very minimalistic visual design.

This is my personal way of getting some music in here... this is a random music generator. Well, not completely random, since it relies on pre-recorded samples to make these lovely sounds. What I've basically done is record some piano and make a few glitchy sounds, chop it up into samples, and set it to play randomly at various intervals, and with a few rules, so the samples don't suddenly all play at the same time and stuff.

Please, lean back and just listen to the machine for a little while... props go out to Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, since it was their music that inspired me to do this particular kind of sound.

Edit - now renamed to "MORC 2" to fit in with the series.
