Description
Why do you look away now?Do I disgust you?
Is it my style,
Or my orientation?
Are you frightened to face me,
Because if you do
You could face something about yourself?
Something that frightens you?
Perhaps the darkness I present
Is something that you fear.
Perhaps you don't want to admit
That in some way you are like me.
You fear that idea.
When I walk down the hall
You glare at me,
But there is more there.
You think I don't see it.
Behind that anger is your fear,
And your admiration.
You cannot be you,
So you fear me.
And you admire what I am.
