Finished with the end result at last...wips can be seen in previous photos...
Took so many months (procrastination) to finish it. Supposed to be a quick sketch and what not..
Also, thanks to `neurotype for the critique and all. I couldn't fix everything completely but yea.. ._. Thanks for the critique. It helped a lot to get things corrected to an extent :'D

Pfft, you should know, I was done the whole thing and then afterwards I realized I forgot to complete doing the ears. I was like, something is missing here and then oh god, the ear D: Then quickly fixed it. :'D

His face was really rough before. And I kind of liked it. But then I liked this one as well D:

I mean, it's all about ambience! I think you did well adding some stronger colors in the background to enhance the atmosphere

I never did books, just had to make a color wheel. And we discussed warm/cool colors in oil painting.

I just put colours together and see how it looks. Most often I have a clear idea of what the colours would be, and other times I just go with whatever it feels like would look okay Though I do use the complementary or triad thing sometimes :C
