This is a digital remaster of an old favourite, [link]Actually not an old fav, but anyhow i decided that it was such a nice concept but i totally did not pull it off because i did not have the proper skills then.
Since i've learnt a fair bit over the past few months, i guess i wanted to see how i could update it. So here is Cerulean 2!
The improvements are relatively minor, but i think it was worth it!
Created with photoshop cs in 2 hours. +favs welcome...

Damn plante pictures are always mesmerizing me. It's absolutely gorgeous, Its'cool the way the sun or star(well the sun is a star, whatever) in the distance is rising or the horizon, so majestic and pretty aganist the deep blackness which is space!!!

Wow, I remember the old Cerulean, which was really ugly. This remake looks really great, for example, the stars in the background, the colour is much, much better because it isn't as bold as the previous one. Also the new sun-star looks less like a lens flare and more like a planet. The texture is good, but not totally great, it still looks a teensy bit flat, but that's all that's not great about it.

On the planet texture, i ended up using my nebula brushes instead of my planet texturing on a normal brush... somehow the texture ended up ugly.... bleahx.... its not so great in the end, but its an improvement
