My very very very n00bish first attempt at a space scape. Basically a starfield. Hope you like it, cause i spent hours brushing away in photoshop...

i really like this. i know you said it's a starfield, but the first thing i thought about was bioluminescence, like in the ocean at night, or really deep down (sorry, bit of an ocean fanatic)
blue and black are a beautiful combonation, and this is really good. better than anything i could do on a comp ^_^
