Actually, to my honesty, I have never expected anyone to do such thing (like sudden present) for me and to be of this quality.
I like the way you have made it 3D version of what once I was nicked named as. And with a closer look, I have a vision of looking at this on a computer screen with little lines of closer examination in a lab etc. I also like the glass-like rings around it. like one of those statues you'd see outside special buildings. I also see that some rings ran into each other. Was this intentional? (juts wondering as some deviants have made this mistake before.) I like the sturdyness looking of the core with a film of glass (?) over it, and the light shining in it.
At a distance, somewhat i saw it as an atom 
I would love, love, LOVE it to be made into my avatar also. But at the same time I want to keep this "Noob" avatar

Lol... looks great! In my opinion, the best piece u have so far.. just curious, what version of bryce do u use? And i think i need to learn some render methods from u.. lol.. i love the render.. any special techniques to the render? or is it one of the defaults?

Wow...what a beauty! The new-age, sci-fi feel is huge in this piece. The rings curl like fine glass around the centermost ball of red energy. The shintillating and glimmering quality of the entire design is awesome. There's also a sense of realism in this piece despite it being abstract...very nice render.

I think thats pretty damn sweet. I think this is your best work yet. Love the 2D, the colors are great as well. Nice work on the render, although one note on the title to the far left. I think you should lower the outer glow a little bit, its just a tad bit too bright making it hard to read. Plus I think it would look a lot better. ^^
