I think I get it! I dont have the puffy glue though. Do you think it would be ok if I put smaller cones inside the spikes? Also. For it to be collapsible you just put on pvc connectors...but then the scary part of sawing everything to get the pieces T_T

Hm... I think you could do it that way... I read a thread on cosplay.com on how to make collapsible/able to take apart staff thingies out of pvc without the connectors, but there's a bit of stuff you'd need to get with parent's help/permission... o_o;
If you could get someone to help you out with the sawing part, if you really needed to saw it?
but you should be OK if you just had the staff part of the weapon as one part, and the actual trident /spike parts as a second part...
