I fin these a few months ago and he came back in the othe rday to put a lil grey through the colour to try and cover the dragon on his left shoulder.I was pretty stoked with how bright this turned out.
Id tried to come up with a more specific fill in but couldnt so just did this random colour, i like how it turned out, i was surprised actually

ugh.... your art.... is so intense. i can't even begin to describe. I'm starting a tattoo apprenticeship next summer. When i see art like this i can't help but to aspire to be that good.

Why, thank you very fucken much. I read your journal entry. Thats fucken awesome, and your art is pretty kick ass too. Tattooing can be a long hard road but its fucken awesome and can be very rewarding and frustrating at times. It wasnt so long ago that i was complete shit at it, but i had a dream, when i got my first tattoo at 16, to tattoo out of my own shop oneday. I was 18 when i did my first one with this [link] and this was me drawing the first one on to [link] and this is what my shop looks like [link]
So good luck to you my friend, dont let anyone tell you your not good enough, just be determined and positive an dlet nothing get in the way of your dream to do it, cause youll get there if you want it bad enough, heres a cool quote, "the surest way not to fail is to be determined to succeed"

well, i hope thats how my life ends up. I gave my first tattoo about a year ago and it made me very nervous even after i practiced on fake skin(which isn't realistic at all). so, i decided to go in for an apprenticeship to really know that what i was doing was the right thing. It's been my dream for over five years now. I may not be hoping to own my own shop, but who knows. I have much time ahead of me. thanks for the support, i really appreciate it.

It will turn out good im sure, just stay positive and remember youre always learning. Running your own shop has gotta be the best thing, i just taught myself and then opened my own shop up a few years later. I wouldnt concern yourself with that now. Just be a sponge and soak up as much knowledge as possible and keep improving.

wow im surprised you were able to teach yourself. I get too nervous that i dont know what im doing or that im not cleaning my equipment correctly. i'll for sure let you know what goes on.

Teaching yourself isnt hard but is, if that makes sense, its good and bad, its taken me alot longer to get where i am but i havnt learnt anyone else bad habits along the way and so ive totally developed my own thing without anyone else influence

Um nah, not really. I know theres the whole stigma of the "backyard" tattooist but fuck them, thats my background and i learnt alot in prison and look where i am now, so, that speaks for itself i think

well im glad there are actually talented artists that learnt on their own. I got so much shit here for trying to learn on my own. I already live in a community that looks down upon tattoo art and when people here discover that im not even a professional it's seen as a complete display of blasphemy.

As just a viewer and not the artist of such things I would have to agree. I showed a woman the other day my tat and she said, "Oh, how cool. I am getting Angel Wings on my back soon". Hmmm...made me think of your art. I think she would have been better off...

lol, there you go exactly my point, people and women in particular are so boring when it come sto choosing what to get, luckerly for them i dont do what they first ask for and i end up creating something much better, for me thats part of my job, not be some stupid robot with no opinion like alot of tattooists

You are most welcome. I never would have noticed the dragon if you hadn't mentioned it. The wings are awesome work to begin with but to find out it was done as a cover up well that just adds even more to my opinion of your talent.

Has turned out rather nicely hasn't it? I always thought I don't want a back tattoo as I would never be able to see it. But if I got one, it would be something like this, massive and spectacular, just for show!
