Im not that familiar with the strogg, I played quake years ago, I played Riddick a couple of years back and I loved all the cybernetics in that cyborgs etc, have you listened to fear factory, that's pretty much all the sing about, kinda like a terminator existence where mans has been overcome by the machines.

I loved the soundtrack to quake 1 and 2. Quake 1s dark ambience was awesome. and Quake 2's was bitchin.
dont blame ya. with the north island. I dont know much about politics, i stay out of it all, and jsut focus on my art and worlds haha
Fear factory huh? Not bad at all man. I dont normally go that heavy. but hey, the creativity is cool, and I can understand them, plus, anything better than that shit they play on the radio.
As for the test. EASY. Terminator 2. The awesome intro. I have the soundtracks for those films.

All I remember about quake is the fucked screams etc of people getting tortured like moaning etc in the background, was creepy as fuck cruzing round there listening to that in the background, I may have had headphones on to which made it even creepier

The quake series was genius. Quake 1 had nothing to do with the others. It was a mix of gritty dark scifi, meets H.P. Lovecraft.
Quake 2, 4 and Quake wars, were set in the battle against the strogg.
and quake 3 arena was set in an eternal arena. where an alien race, watched the best warriors from around the universe, time and different dimensions, and when they neared death, they would be kidnapped, and sent to fight in the arenas, forever. Dying again and again for the alien races amusment. So it had characters from quake 1, 2, doom, and others
