Wow, that is NICE. I just have a rinky dink digital camera with a built in macro and super macro and even the super macro doesn't let me get THAT close.

i'm after a decent camera and lenses for macro photography, what would you recommend? bear in mind I don't know much about cameras! cheers

Well I haven't used may types of camera so my knowledge on them is pretty limited. I use Canon. I have a Digital Rebel. as far as Lenses, I do know they may 2 kinds of Macro lens for Canon,a 50mm and a 100mm if I'm not mistaken; but I do know they are really expensive. the way I achieved a Macro is I have a 10x adaptor that attaches on the end of any lens (like a filter) and turns that existing lens into a macro.
